Cascadable single-cable multi-switches for distribution of digital Sat-IF signals (eight Sat polarities; including HDTV) and terrestrial signals via one cable to up to eight receivers in a single-family household
No limitation of programme variety - transmission of the complete programme range of two satellites
Option to select horizontal/vertical, low/high band, Sat position A /position B and transponder from each receiver
Switch-over (horizontal/vertical, low/high band, Sat position A /position B) and transponder selection take place in the multi-switch, controlled by the receiver with a special SCR single-cable command set in conformance with EN 50494
For transponder selection, the single-cable multi-switches are equipped with special tuner modules called SCRs (Satellite Channel Routers) which effect conversion to the subscriber frequencies
Each receiver is assigned a fi xed subscriber frequency (a twin receiver requires two subscriber frequencies)
Conform to SCR single-cable distribution standard EN 50494, i.e. all components of a single-cable distribution system that conform to this standard can be integrated in a Sat system
Settable gain in the Sat range enables optimal signal distribution to the subscriber connection
Single-cable multi-switch EXR 1981 and multi-switch loop-throughs such as EXR 2942 and EXR 2998 can be combined as desired. Up to eight multi-switches can be cascaded
Terrestrial signals can be received even when the satellite receiver is switched off
For indoor installation
