Kathrein presents DVB transmodulator QPSK-QAM UFO 386/TP2

The DVB transmodulator UFO 386/TP2 (Order No. ***)
converts a QPSK modulated Sat IF signal into a QAM modulated output
signal and serves for processing a DVB Sat transponder in community
antenna systems. The complete channel unit is integrated in only one
cassette. For each transponder one cassette is needed.
All essential transmission parameters can be set via the central control unit.

Difference from Kathrein UFO386 / TP , can support 2 channels on one output

Other features:

- Two inputs A/B, settable via the central control unit (e.g. for
  H/V switch-over and for setting up a cable NIT for two polarisations)
- Output level is adjustable and disconnectable via the control unit
- Adjacent channel compatible
- Viterbi error protection (Code rates: 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8)
- MPEG-2 transport stream processor:
  - - for setting a constant output data rate (Stuffing)
  - - with programme filter for suppression of individual TV and radio programmes (comfortable setting with USW 30 and UFX 312)
  - - for NIT adaptation (cable NIT; UFX 312 additionally needed)
  - - for CAT adaptation, e.g. for setting the operator ID (USW 30 and UFX 312 additionally needed)
